Tariffs are often designed to encourage people to buy American-made products. When you shop, do you check where products come from? Would you be willing to pay more for something made in the U.S.? Why or why not?

Prompt Response: Oftentimes I don't look at where products are made this is because most of the time when I buy something like most people I only look at the price. If the price is too elevated I try to find an alternative. Most of the time when we buy groceries my family and I go to Mexican supermarkets and most of the things there are made in Mexico. Sometimes we even grow our own food like tomatoes. Personally I wouldn't pay more for something made in the United States only because they may not have the same taste that I like and I believe the decision on the tariffs is dumb because instead of bringing prices down they made prices go up with tariffs. So I don't think I would pay more for something made here.

Summary: I don't look at where things are made from I just take what I like  but other than that I don't look at anything else.

Reflection: People will buy what they want to buy from where ever they want because not everyone checks labels.
