Describe a time when you had to speak in front of an audience. What were your fears? How did you handle them? What advice would you give to someone struggling with stage fright?

Prompt Response:  When you start going to school there will always be times where you have to present your project, talk about your weekend , break, or something you have done, or even debate in front of an audience. This year in my 5th period class we were practicing giving speeches I started to get a lot better but when it was time to read them in front of the audience I got extremely nervous. Something that helped me a lot during this was to lightly stab my pencil in my leg this was because I would notice I would concentrate more on the pencil than on getting nervous. Something I would recommend to someone talking in front of people would be to stay calm and remember to take your time so that the audience understands you and enjoys your presentation.

Summary: I was not in class but I think we took notes.

Reflection:  If you  are about to present in front of an audience always remember to stay calm, breath, and enjoy what you are doing.
