Choose a word from Vocabulary Lesson 12. In at least one paragraph, define the word in your own words and explain where you encountered it. Describe how understanding this word helps improve your communication or writing skills.

Prompt Response:  My favorite word in vocabulary 12 is martinet. Martinet for me means someone that is extreme some who gives very precise instruction. I had never heard that word ever but once I saw it in the vocabulary it seemed very interesting. I think I can use this word when I write essays or like stories where there is a character that is very strict and controlling. Martinet for me is someone who is controlling and very strict.
