Write about a conversation that changed you.

 Prompt Response: 

A conversation that changed me was when I went to my father´s house and told him I felt like he had never protected our family (mom and siblings) from his family (his parents and his siblings) and that is why my parents got divorced. We had a very long conversation about it and he started explaining to me that even though his parents treated him horribly he would always love them. He also explained to me that since he was the oldest brother he felt the responsibility to take care of them and he would feel very guilty if he did not do that. This conversation changed me because I understood that by telling my dad to stop helping them just made him feel bad and it also changed me because I understood that sometimes you should just distance yourself from people that cause you harm even though that means you would have to distance yourself from your own family. We talked of many other personal things that I will never forget and he has made me understand many things that I never understood.

Summary:

Today we had a vocabulary worksheet where we had to define the words. We also had to put the correct word on the blank. 

Reflection: 

The vocabulary will help me use new words so that my essays or anything else I write can sound a little formal. Hopefully I also apply the vocabulary into my language because I need to staart speaking a lot more formal.

  Prompt Response:   Something I can ´ t stop thinking about is if I will graduate or not this is because of the grades I currently have. This is because of my grades there are 4 of my grades and they are above a 90 but there are 3 there are below 81%. I tried my best to do all my work and homework but sometimes I am very tired from school, work, and other things I have going on Most teachers are willing to help me get my grade up but there are some teachers that don´t want to help me even though I have completed everything in their class.   Prompt Response:   The best way that works for me while preparing for a test is using practice games. Practice games like quizlet, gimkit, and kahoot help me a lot. This is because I get entertained and don´t get bored I also make sure to take breaks and sleep very well because this will help me concentrate a lot more and will also help me feel a lot better I also try to stay as organized as I can  because this way I don´t struggle when I have to find things. I think that is the best way that I can study because other way get me bored, sleepy, and tired.  Summary: Having good studying skills will help you in life when you have a test or exam to prepare for.
