Describe when you had a moment of unexpected kindness.
Prompt:
A moment where I had unexpected kindness is when my family and I lived in an apartment where one night it suddenly burned down. It was 2:00 am my parents immediately started to knock on everyone's door and they took everyone out. After that we went to a shelter but we only lasted one night there then we went to live to a hotel and we had to walk every morning to school. The second day we got to school our principal called every kid that their house got burned down. Our principal got everyone on the bus and she started to say she was very sorry for what had happened to us and she took us to Walmart she bought us clothes then we stopped at McDonald's and she bought us a cheeseburger. Our principal was very kind to us and she also gave my mother some new dishes for our new apartment. This has been a time when I have experienced unexpected kindness.
Summary: Today we read a poem about how beauty doesn't last long and that is why we should appreciate it. We then continued to make a presentation where we had to put examples of beauty that does not last long or changes over time.
Reflection: One thing I learned is that we should appreciate things while they still have their beauty. Like nature, fashion, and your childhood.
