Prompt Response: I think the most important aspect of my identity is my culture. I think my culture is important because it is tied to my beliefs even though everyone's beliefs are different I think culture is a big part of your identity because it can define what food, clothes, and behaviors you like. Culture is something big because it can impact what you like what you eat and how you behave and also it can impact how you talk because there is a lot of languages that is why people are so different from one another. Summary: We had to make a mask based on our culture but I was not in class today Reflection: I was not in class today.
Prompt Response: When you start going to school there will always be times where you have to present your project, talk about your weekend , break, or something you have done, or even debate in front of an audience. This year in my 5th period class we were practicing giving speeches I started to get a lot better but when it was time to read them in front of the audience I got extremely nervous. Something that helped me a lot during this was to lightly stab my pencil in my leg this was because I would notice I would concentrate more on the pencil than on getting nervous. Something I would recommend to someone talking in front of people would be to stay calm and remember to take your time so that the audience understands you and enjoys your presentation. Summary: I was not in class but I think we took notes. Reflection: If you are about to present in front of an audience always remember to stay calm, breath, and enjoy what you are doing.
Prompt Response: Some skills I have learned in high school are doing your work and not leaving it for later because it can cause you to fall behind. Another skill is responsibility this will help me all through out life because you not only need this in school you also need this for your job for making payments on time for paying off your debts and other things as well. Many skills are essential for life but being on time is key for everything this will avoid you lots of problems in the real world because you have to be on time to get to your job to pay your bills like rent, telephone bills, and probably even the water bill. Even though sometimes we are not prepared for the real world we still have to learn how to live life because if we don't we will struggle a lot living it. Summary: learning life skills in high school is important. Reflection: Sometimes no one will tell you what to do and you will have to figure things out by yourself.
