Imagine it's the year 2050. What does the world look like? How have technology, society, and the environment changed?

Prompt Response:  I believe we will have very advanced technology there will be more robots. I believe everything will be more expensive then right now and there will be little to no jobs. I also believe most schools will be online and not in person anymore. I think there will be a lot more air pollution and some cities will not even exist anymore. I also think we will have flying cars and cars that have robots that drive them. Summary:Today we are still working on the Project Mr. Rease gave us for the story a Lesson before dying. Imagine writing a letter to yourself 10 years from now. What advice, hopes, or reminders would you include?

Prompt Response:  If I were writing a letter to myself I would advise myself to be a very good daughter and hopefully I am an independent woman with my own house and car. I would hope I have already become a mother and hopefully I have a good career/job and I also hope I have a good husband and a good life.  I would tell myself to keep trying to achieve my goals because everything is achievable and everything has a solution except for death hopefully I still have my grandparents with me. Hopefully I am what I have always wanted to be and hopefully I am very proud of myself. Summary: Today we were working on the project Mr. Rease had assigned to us. Reflection:   Today we were working on the project Mr. Rease had assigned to us.

Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

Prompt Response:   I created a project that I felt very proud of was in my Spanish class and this was last semester. This project was based on finding a lot of information about Guatemala and its cities. I got very creative with fonts. This was because our teacher let us have creative freedom. I believed my project seemed extremely professional with a lot of creativity. The only thing I did not do was present my project because I had burned my leg and could not come to school that day but my teacher gave me a 100 and said my project was amazing. Summary: Today I think y'all were project planning but I was not here so I didn't get a paper. Reflection:   Today I think y'all were project planning but I was not here so I didn't get a paper.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

Prompt Response:   When we had the virtual days I took a break from all my homework and all my work. I was concentrated in getting a lot of rest because I was very tired. I had been working very hard working a job and working on school work for the last semester. I would have little to no sleep time I did this without knowing how much it would impact me. This had a huge impact on my grades because even though I did get some sleep I feel behind in all my classwork and that made my grades go from an 80 and above to low 20s and 60s. This thought me a big lesson which was don't let yourself get behind in classwork or homework.  I will try my best not to that anymore because I finally realized I get stressed too easily. Summary: We had a vocabulary lesson in class. Reflection:   We had a vocabulary lesson.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

Prompt Response:  Ever since I can remember I knew that I didn't get to meet my dad until I was 3. At first I wouldn't really care because I would live with my dad. One day I don't really remember who I heard it from but they were saying that my dad had abandoned me it really hurt and I was under that impression for many years until I finally realized I was wrong. Even though that really ruined my relationship with my father and it made me struggle for a long time now I am ok. I think my relationship with my father is a lot better thank how it used to be but that is something I regret hearing and would wish to go back in time and unhear it. Write about a moment when you felt you had the power to make a difference in someone else's life.

Prompt Response:  I think a moment I knew I had the power to make a change in somebody's life was last year this is because I would see how much my mother was struggling with my siblings and I and I knew I had to do something about it. From there on I knew I had to work hard so that I could help her and now I work so that whenever she needs something or wants something I could buy it  for her before she used to have no shoes but I have bought her shoes, perfumes, clothes, and some jewelry. I think my mother deserves it because she has been working her whole life and taking care of us. I know I will keep working and trying to finish high school for her because that is what she wants me to do. I want to make a difference in my mother's life so that she doesn't have to work as hard as  before for us. Summary:Virtual Day Reflection:  Virtual Day

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

Prompt Response:  A place where I feel peace  is our house in Mexico.  This is because I believe that  it hold the happiest memories from my whole life it holds my childhood memories and even though a lot of bad things happened in there there were more good things that happened than bad things. I remember when we would call my grandparents, when I had my 3rd birthday party there, when I met my father for the first time, or when my mother would cook for me and my older sister. As I said it holds a lot of unforgettable memories. Now I go and I feel so calm without stress and that is where I go to relax and forget about everything that stresses me. Summary:Virtual day Reflection:   Virtual day

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Prompt Response:  Throughout my lifetime which has been 16 years lots of people give you advice on how to live your life or what to do. A time when someone's words had a lasting impact on me was when my mother told me live your life and enjoy it right now that you are young because when you grow older a lot of responsibilities will come your way and you probably won't have as much time as right now. My mother told this to my sister and I and we thought our mother was lying to us but once we grew older we started noticing it was true. My sister got pregnant a while ago and now she doesn't have time to herself as she used to like before. Now I have to go to work, go to school, and take care of my siblings. Now I realize that what my mom told us was very true because now I wish to go back to those days where I could sleep the whole day without having to stress because of what time it was. Summary: Today was a virtual day. Reflection:  Virtual day.

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

Prompt Response:  I have had to rely on my mother and her decisions my whole life and one time I remember she didn't have any money and no job because of the winter. I remember I had to rely on her for her to bring home money and food I saw her crying at night because she had no money for us. I didn't like that situation so I decided that once I turned 16 I would look for a job and I did from then on I try to help her as much as I can working and coming to school. Now our financial situation is better but I want to buy her things that she wants and needs so that she will never have to rely on no one ever again. This means that if she doesn't have to rely on no one so do I this means I have learned how to become independent  Summary: We had to answer some discussion questions. Reflection:  I have to concentrate more so that I can get my work done in time.

Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you.

Prompt Response:  Something that hold a lot of sentimental value for me is our house in Mexico. Summary: We took some notes and worked on a worksheet. Reflection:  I have to look up for a summary of the story because now I have to look up things. Also learned how to use the finder.

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

Prompt Response:   There have been many times where I had to step out of my comfort zone and this happens a lot mostly because I am very shy and I am not a very outgoing person. I will never forget my first day in my first job which was very embarrassing for me. My first job was customer service and I was a bagger and a lady had bought some fruit in this plastic bowl and I accidentally dropped it and was very embarrassed. I had to say sorry and step out of my comfort zone and offered her to take her cart full of things to the parking lot and she agreed. This is one of the many times I have had to get out of my comfort zone. Summary: we had to respond to some questions based on the chapters that we read. Reflection:  I reflected on a lot of things because that is how I can brainstorm my letter.

If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

Prompt Response:   If I were to become president of the United States I would do a lot of things but I think the first one is raising the minimum wage and trying to make a better economy. Another thing I would do is ban guns. This has caused so many problems like school shootings and lots of other things. I would also lower healthcare costs for EVERYONE because everyone no matter where you are from should be able to be seen by a doctor. I would also allow immigrants who have come to work and do good things that benefit the United States to have a residency only some and for others I would give them visas to come work in the U.S legally. This is because people only come for a better future for their kids and I don't think we should deport and/or harm people that work hard for us to have food and housing and work hard and risky jobs. I would also try to make jobs, education, and schools better have better job environments with breaks and for schools better food, teachers, text...

Write about a dream that felt real.

Prompt Response:   Most of the time when people have dreams they can't remember them by the time they wake up the next day but surprisingly I still remember a dream. This dream was very weird I say this because it felt very real I was in Mexico with my cousins and I remember asking my father to take me to a lake near by and he told me that he needed to go to work and to go by myself with my cousins (which are younger). I told them to go with me and they agreed near this lake there are a lot of snakes and a lot of trees we drove 1 hour and walked 35 minutes to get there. When we got there we started to swim and have a great time but it  was unfortunately time to leave we were leaving when then I saw a snake a very big snake so I told them we should get on the trees and wait till it left I was talking to my cousins waiting for it to leave when then suddenly I turned around and it was there it had bitten me. After this I had woken up to my mom screaming at me to get up and...

Summarize your holiday break. In addition, write about 5 personal goals that you want to achieve in 2025. Explain why you chose those goals.

Prompt Response:   My break was OK this is  because I would have wanted to get a little more rest but I had to work. Overall Christmas I just went to sleep after we finished cleaning and cooking this is because we were hosting and we had to have our house very clean. Even though we were hosting I was very tired physically and mentally. New Years was a lot better but it was not what I expected it was very similar to  Christmas and I had more energy. The 5 goals I chose were trying to have better grades than last semester, being more responsible, losing weight, working more, and getting my license. I chose these goals because I think they will help me improve myself and make me a better person. Summary:  Today we just worked on the questions that were on Canvas for us. Reflection:   The questions we had to answer made me realize I didn't have such a bad break. It also helped me realize we had a lot of great people in american history that made lots for our ...
